The Buildner’s Unbuilt Award 2025 marks the inception of an annual competition dedicated to celebrating architectural design excellence. As pioneers in organizing architecture competitions worldwide, the Buildner Award is set to honor outstanding contemporary architecture from across the globe. Over the years, Buildner has established itself as a prominent and respected platform in the architectural community, attracting millions of visitors, including professionals and enthusiasts alike.

For over a decade, Buildner has spearheaded more than 150 architecture competitions, engaging nearly 400 esteemed architects and academic professionals as jury members and connecting with students from almost 1,400 architecture schools and universities worldwide.

The Buildner Unbuilt Award 2025 extends an exclusive opportunity for architects and designers to highlight and celebrate their architectural and design achievements that have yet to be realized. This international competition invites submissions of unbuilt work that participants are most proud of, regardless of whether these projects are published or unpublished, fully designed or still conceptual.

This year’s Buildner Unbuilt Award introduces three distinct categories for submission: small, medium, and large-scale projects. This classification ensures that every entry, regardless of size or scope, is acknowledged and celebrated. We encourage participants to select the category that best fits the scale of their visionary projects, offering a platform for every idea to shine.
